Infinite I/O

VMworld 2013—Day 1

Posted by Alan Brandon on Aug 27, 2013

The first full day of VMworld 2013 found Infinio folks to be very giving: They gave interviews, gave presentations, gave away prizes, and of course gave demos of Infinio Accelerator (now in public beta!).

Our co-founder and CEO Arun Agarwal was interviewed by virtualization analyst Hans De Leenheer as part of Hans' "VMworld CEO Tour" series.

Later at the Tech Field Day roundtable our Director of Product Marketing, Peter Smith, presented an Infinio Accelerator update. He covered how Accelerator works, plus announced that the public beta is now open.

Several contests were active throughout the day. The Infinio booth was one stop on the vBrownBag treasure hunt.

The vExpertPapparazzi contest, put on by Greg Stuart of vDestination, challenged VMworld attendees to get their picture taken with as many vExperts as possible. The winner for day 1 was Gabe Maentz, who won a Kindle Fire HD from Infinio.
