Infinite I/O

2016 Year in Review

Posted by Sheryl Koenigsberg on Dec 22, 2016

We had a great year here at Infinio.  I asked our team members what accomplishments they were most proud of, and here's what everyone said:

Steve Sears, Software Architect: "We drove 1,000,000 IOPS from a single host."  Read more about our high performance platform.

Brian Nadeau, SVP of Product Development: "The combination of our cache performance technology and VAIO allowed customers to virtualize applications that previously could only run on bare metal configurations."

Dan Perkins, Head of Product Management: "This year we pushed further into the software defined datacenter by enabling customers to utilize storage policies to assign cache resources to high priority workloads.  We even partnered with SolarWinds where we automated the application of an Infinio-equipped storage policy to the virtual disks of troubled VMs based on latency data collected by SolarWinds Virtualization Manager."

Amanda Carignan, Demand Generation Manager: "In early September we met thousands of VMware users at VMworld in Las Vegas and were able to educate them on how Infinio can drive impressive peformance in their environments."

Mark McNamara, Senior Director of Sales: "We had triple-digit growth in Q2 and Q3, due to a great product, dedicated team, and valuable customers." Read more

Arun Agarwal, CEO: "It's close to December 31st, so I can share that Q4 broke all of our records, being the third consecutive quarter of triple-digit growth, and adding more net new customers than in any previous quarter."  Hear from more customers

Some of my favorite achievements were getting certified for VSAN and vVols, adding more analytics to our UI, and providing immediate support for ESXi 6.5.

We can't wait to see what 2017 has in store for our team and our customers.
